Film Award Nominating Filmmaker Shares His Journey with Students
Films like “In Broad Daylight”, “Time Still Turns The Pages”, “The Narrow Road” and “Table For Six” have achieved successes both locally and overseas. We have invited the director of photography of these films, Meteor Cheung, who has received multiple nominations for “Best Cinematography” at the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Shanghai International Film Festival, to share his insights and provide technical guidance to our Film and Transmedia students.
He also shared with these future filmmakers, that the path he has taken was built step by step, not achieved overnight. As long as you dare to take the first step, you will find different people to bond with along the way. When opportunities come, you embrace them with passion and earnestness. Then, those who appreciate you will naturally come to you. He ended with a hopeful note, saying, “I hope your phones will keep ringing in the future.”
