Adapted ApL is one of the senior secondary elective subjects for students with intellectual disability. It emphasises both theory and practice, aiming to develop students’ knowledge, generic skills, values and attitudes through simulated or authentic contexts, and explore their orientation for lifelong learning and career aspirations.
Taster Programmes
To cater for the diverse needs of schools and students, Other Learning Experience programmes can be organized both within and across subject areas to complement different school-based activities such as Project-based Learning, Other Learning Experiences, Life-wide Learning etc.; the duration, schedule and venue of the programme can also be flexibly arranged.
